Do you have a part # for headers that would work on my 78 Phoenix (same subframe as a 78 Nova) in the process of doing a 5.3 swap, could I get part #'s for the long & mid length headers?....thanks

Will the speed engineering LS swap headers fit a 72 Nova without hitting the factory power steering gear? That's the only issue anyone seems to have in these cars.

Thanks

When did you guys release these?

https://www.speed-engineering.com/ls...2-ls3-ls6.html

Finally an affordable option for 3rd gens.

Maybe I'll swap out the 2nd gen set I modified for a set of these.

bing98: We are currently out of stock on the Nova headers, but yes our part number 25-1027 will fit your chassis.

t_raven: We came out with the third gen headers back in January I believe. Sounds good.

Thanks

Hey man are these two sets the same?

I modified my 2nd gen set for my 3rd gen but haven't built a y pipe yet. Now that you have a 3rd gen set, I'm going to order those. I was going to save the 2nd gen set for a future project, but If they are the same as the C10 set I'll put those in my 67 GMC.

Thanks.

I'm in the market for headers, I don't know a whole lot about cars so I will be having my mechanic install them, my question is how do I know whether I need the 1 3/4 or 1 7/8. Or is that a personal preference? Also do you have H pipes? I have a 2000 Camaro z28

Ok I found some universal H pipes, since this said it has a 3" collector, that would mean I need a 3" kit correct? My exhaust pipes are also 3" .I'm going to go with these speed engineering headers, just need to know 1 3/4 or 1 7/8. Edit: I'm thinking the 1 3/4 based on what I've read because my car isn't heavily modified, it has a k n cai, cattback exhaust, predator chip, and 4:10 gears. I just want to make sure the 1 3/4 are what I need before I order them

1 3/4 should be fine for you. if you are doing a full dual exhaust with the mods you mention, a dual 2 1/2 would work better for you, with better low end torque.

I am looking at the Camaro & Nova Longtube Headers for my -71 Nova. Do you have an ETA on when you will have these headers in stock?

Just put the 3rd gen set in my GTA. No issues with fitment, they tuck up nice. The #8 plug was hard to get in with the EVAP housing in the way, but one difficult plug isn't a big deal.
