So... In order to use my rear O2 sensors as the fronts, I repinned the PCM harness my swapping the wires. Same thing I did on my Camaro.
I called and talked to Geoff for a minutes a little bit ago. He wants me to get a timing light and ensure the coils are actually firing.
Also to unplug the O2's completely and remove that from the equation. Unplugged they'll they'll the PCM 450mv or whatever it is, instead if 0 if they've failed.
Then, check the plugs to ensure I didn't somehow crack one.
Hope you get those codes ironed out. Also double check all the ground straps as that is quite an issue for C5s on the Corvette Forums.
And the 0300? Multiple misfires? Why? New plugs, new wires...
Timing gun is on the way and I'll see if I don't have a coil that magically **** itself while they were off the valve covers
I'm seriously hoping nothing is screwed up on the body harness side of things. It makes no sense both would just "go out" like that
Only thing out of the ordinary I did was repin the PCM harness for the rear o2's t5o act as the fronts. I did it right. I've done it before...
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Same **** happened to me when I did my H/C/I and exhaust at the same time. Car started stumbling and running like **** and my wideband was all over the place. Replaced the sensors and fixed everything.
These were Bosch 13682's.
Going to try Bosch 15900's this time.
Brand new o2's and it's stumbling and dying and wanting to kill itself. Unplugged, runs fine.
I have a SERIOUS electrical problem.
I swapped just how you're supposed to I think.
25-26
28-29
65-66
68-69
Who knows. Maybe I screwed it up.
Only problem is the wire colors.
25 and 26 are both tan.
28 and 29 are both tan/white.
65-66 both purple
68-69 both purple/white
Again, plugged in same port, but swapped collectors
