well I managed to get to the track finally. ran two 7.9's with a 1.86 60'. 3800 DA. then got booted for having no driveshaft loop. she had a 7.8 in it pretty easy that day IMO but never got the chance to prove it. pretty happy for the first time out with the car. going to change from 3.73's to 3.90's. still shooting for 11's with bolt ons even at this DA.

Dont waste money on gears 3.42's will drive just like 3.23's coming from someone who's driven both. 3.73's will feel a little different but with a stall and an auto it wont mean anything at the track. stick with 3.23's and spend the money elsewhere unless you just want the tighter "feel" of 3.73's with a stall

I would still pick up an ls6 in that case... No problems with nitrous on either intake. But you can always sell the ls6 for what you got it for and it will pick up a solid 8-10 over the ls1.
