You should be on the money with that tire/gear combo. I'm on 28'' ET street with 4.10's and going through the traps at 6,000 in 3rd. You should be the same if not real close. The one thing I wish I did though was go with a 4000 converter instead of the 3600. It's funny how loose a 3600 feels on the street but how tight it feels hooking dead at the track.

11's shouldn't be a problem. A LS6 intake would help, but if you're getting a Holley down the road then I guess just wait.

Maybe a few more weight reduction mods, a nice tune, and get that beast to hook! I eventually want to get a tunnel mount torque arm to help drop my 60ft

I'm trying for the same goal next season. So far the car has been really slow but I'm thinking it's because of the 2.73 gear. I'm installing an LS6 intake, U/D pulley and running 17" skinnies and a 275/40/17 DR next weekend. Hopefully with better air I'll see a 12 before the end of this season. Next year it's getting an SS3600, 3.42 gear and a little weight reduction. I'll be shooting for the coveted 11 sec bolt on pass.

They sure do. The best thing about my car too is that it hooks as hard on the street as it does on the track. It's funny to watch the look on peoples faces when they get there asses handed to them by a bolt on car. I've spent countless hours getting the suspension and chassis right on this car to get it that way. Plus the look on people's faces when it gets a inch of daylight under the front tires on the street is priceless.

Very nice! Amazing what some light wheels and tires, converter, and gear will do.

Thanks, I hope so. My 1st goal was to beat my 5th gen bolt-on time and my 2nd is to hit 11's even if it's a glory run.

I was thinking of going 4k but planning on spraying the car with a 150 shot after the heads and cam setup.
