Does anyone have a good pic of these installed with the tsp tds? I just got the newer stainless set last week, and there doesn't seem to be much room between them. I got around 7" between the pipes, iirc. It looks like there would be less than 1" in between them when it was done.

Edit- talking about the 9" wide single chambers

The only thing louder than bullets is open pipes. Those sweet thunders are not as loud as bullets.

Really? I remember watching a clip between the 2 and sweet thunders were way louder.

They are about the same because a sweet thunder is pretty much a bullet

I'm on the same boat. OP. My bullets are nice but I sort of want them to be louder, it sounds real good but not fully satisfied. I really need that cam lol.

I agree, when I was reading on here before I got my exhaust people were like... Bullets NOOOO they're retarded loud. Me... I'm like *meh* could be louder.

Don't get me wrong with the X-pipe in there and the bullets, plus with the Vindicator it sounds freakin sick! Almost vette like when I spin it up to 7k. But I wish the idle was a bit louder.

I think the 1 chambers are almost louder at idle than the bullets, at least from what I've heard. I think it's because of the aggressive tone you get with the 1 chambers. It's hard to explain, but it sounds more meaty than a bullet, which is more of a hollow sound.

^^^ MKvamso what is your clearance like? Looks better than mine does with the bullets and turndowns. I think that looks great.

Yea, see I prefer the way bullets sound at idle compared to chambers. I have heard some Spintechs on a GTO (those are chambered) and it sounded REALLY good when under load too. I know what your saying about the hollowness. My car when Im to lazy to downshift and just give it gas to regain some speed after slowing down sounds like a truck with glasspacks.

Is there still drone and interior rattles with the chambers? I'm assuming any dump set up will have those symtoms.

Thanks for the pics, thats not too bad. I ordered some of the Ebay knock off ones to try. I also have some Classic chambered ones to try too. Between those and the TSP supplied mufflers, i should be able to find something I like!

Well if you can't find something you like between those three choices, then I think you're **** out of luck.

I always had a sweet spot for the Moroso Spiral flows, I think they sound fantastic. However, I would never run them. There was a guy on YB that gained like 3mph I think it was just from switching to a different muffler.

They sound great but flow like crap.

I'm biased toward the 1 chambers, I had 3" duals with them dumped right at the rear end but with no turndowns. That all but killed the interior resonance. They're every bit as loud as bullets.....like knock crap off the garage wall when you fire it up kinda loud. Here's a gopro vid from inside the cabin with both windows down. Some normal driving and a quick WOT blast at the end. Don't be scared of the clunky trans

Jimy89LS1, you said you ran them without any turndowns. I assume it's safe to do that. If I switch, I'm going to run them without turndowns.
