Exhaust & Header combination Opinions

Wassup Everybody? I just recently purchased my dream car. It's a 2001 M6 SS Camaro with 44k on it. It currently has stock exhaust system with only a cut out right before the rear end. It sounds pretty good imo but i'm interested in some good exhaust systems that'll step the hp up. I want to put headers into a true dual with a X-pipe and bullet style mufflers and dump before the rear end. I'm really interested if anybody has some dyno numbers b4 and after the exhaust. Thanks for the help.

Well ill give you my numbers, with a lid and a catback made 303whp. On a different dyno with mods listed below made 354whp, 360tq

depending on your future goals, id get a quality set of 1 7/8

Yeah i was planning on getting a good set. I see on here where a bunch of ppl like kooks or American racing. Just Curious if anyone ever has used Hooker LT and how they fit.

Texas Speed 1 7/8" headers and true duals. That's what I ran. They'll support about anything you can throw at them, and last damn near forever. I loved mine.

Both are stainless as well...

I have Stainless Works headers with the Texas Speed true duals. Mated up great and sounds awesome. Texas Speed duals are a great buy.

I have hooker longtubes....not happy with them. The header flange is raised at the ports and getting a gasket to seal with those is frustrating. The ones I have on my car are old and were on it when I bought it so I don't know if they changed the design over the years.
