FAST 102 vs. LS6?

How much more rwhp can you see from a FAST 102 (and supporting TB) over the stock LS6 intake? I'm trying to decide if the swap is worth it. We have a 2004 C5 with bolt-ons and an IHRA Pure Stock cam (factory lift AND duration) that makes 372 to the wheels. In good air it will run 11.50s. Currently we also have a wet kit and on a 100 jet (with the NANO also) it made 502. Once we sort it out and get the progressive controller adjusted our hope is to go 10.50s.
Our next step is to have Phil at AI do a set of 243 heads and add a Tick Stage III SNS cam in hopes of going solidly in the 9s. My question is while everything is apart how much can you expect to see from just the FAST 102 intake and TB? I ask because it's going to be about $1500 to do the intake, TB and new 102 nitrous plate. If we're only going to see minimal gains at the wheels I'll just leave the LS6 intake on. I don't mind spending the money but want to make sure it's worth it before we go that direction. Keep in mind that we only have 100 jets in now and can easily go 150 for free but I want to know if the stock intake at some point is going to become too restrictive.
Any real world experience with this?
Thanks.
Scott

Thanks gentlemen. Those were my thoughts originally but I wanted to hear from others. I'll just stick with the LS6 intake when I do my H/C and jet up the plate if I need to go quicker. 9s were our goal and I think that is realistic with the OEM intake.

Or, since you're already on the bottle, just up the shot.
Larger jets are waaay cheaper than anything branded FAST.
Even on a H/C car it doesn't seem like 20 rwhp would be worth that much money.

The fasts are worth it. To be honest if you can fit a lsx rt on your car you would be looking closer to 30hp. When I changed from a ls6 to a fast 90 I pick up 13hp at peak and near 18 at other places under the curve. I noticed better throttle response and it seemed to carry the power better.

Your statement is 100% false and it's been said 300 times on here by anyone with decent knowledge that there's nothing to be had by porting an LS6 or changing the size of the TB.
You gain power EVERYWHERE with a Fast, not just peak.

Actually there is some to be gained by porting a ls6. Maybe 5-6 hp from my experience. The problem is I gained 13-14 over the ported ls6 with the ported fast.
But then I am turning near 7000rpm. The lsx rt is the way to go if you can make it fit.
