GMMG or LOUDMOUTH?
I got a 35th Anniv with the CME tips and I was wondering which setup would be easier to hook up my tips too. (no homo) Plan to do kooks long tubes and maybe high flow cats...not sure what the best way of going about this is. Unfortunately I currently live in California...then moving back to New Jersey trying make a setup that would work.

Yeah any decent exhaust shop should be able to make it work with no problem.
Word of advice....If you decide on the LM1, please make sure to run that "catted" y - pipe lol. Either that or go with a different muffler if you want a ORY

Maybe you're right. Maybe the duals would cancel some of that. Before I switched to the Magnaflow I was running the LM1 on my current setup and idle and WOT it sounded great, but everywhere else it was horrible lol.

If I was you, I'd install headers first and then search for a different catback if you aren't satisfied with the sound. GMMG and LM sound great stock but tend to get ugly with headers.

Id go with GMMG. I used to have them on my LT1 and it sounded much better than my ls1 w/borla. Unfortunately, i never installed the gmmg on the ls1 so i dont know how different it would sound. Ive heard a few loudmouths, and they do sound noticeably louder, but not the same tone, nor as deep as the gmmg.

OP, when it comes to exhaust note/tone preference, it's kind of like asking a guy which beer they like best of what they consider to be a hot woman. Each person's going to have a different opinion. Best advice is to sit on Youtube for an ungodly amount of time and listen to all kinds of different combos or try to hear as many different setups in person.

THe problem with rasp stems from funneling the exhaust into the I-pipe, not the choice of muffler/resonator. LMI is the worst becasue it is nothing but an expansion chamber Most ORY's for LT's have a crappy merge which can be helped with the FM merge. The only cure for rasp is true duals. I am sure the LMI's sound fine a dual setup, just probably very loud and a little less refined than those with some form of muffler, but rasp should be a non-issue.

I didn't really like my GMMG anymore after installing LT's. With ORY it was intolerably loud and raspy. I did cats, a powerstick, and resonator tips to get it sounding right. And yes, I had a FM merge.
Plus it's expensive and I don't know that hacking it up to mate with your CME would be a great call. I'd try to make a Magnaflow muffler work with your set-up if I were in your shoes.
