I heard April 1st...

I'd really like to have Kyle build me a 416... Looking good Brien. Can't wait to see it all back together.

What are you thinking? 850 conservative?

Sounds about right. 850hp/800tq would be fun on the street. At first, I'm not going to spin the blower to max rpm, I'm going to use a 4.00" pulley on the head unit and only see about 75-80% of max rpm from it. Once I get used to that, then it'll be time to see what she'll do.

Even with the 4.00" pulley, your 19" CCW setup is going to be screaming for traction.

No one knows much other than the ls3 will fit on the 5th gen camaros, and the LT1 will fit on the corvette. That's the only 2 vehicles I've seen it on.

yea that's what I figured. I don't have clearance issues to worry about as it will be going on a '14 Silverado. I guess we will wait and see once these hit the market.

I'm done waiting on this like I did with the Warrior intake. Disappointed in MSD for the delays and ignoring this forum and others too. Got a cammed lsx rockbouncer thats getting thrashed on starting in april so I ordered a Fast/NW combo this week.

It puzzles me that a company is going to put that much money into research and development and then "**** the bed" when it comes to answering questions about their product or providing back to back testing for all platforms regarding this intake. I've yet to see any results for the LS1/LS6 MSD intake version.

So it's for sale on summit. When would the delivery be?

MSD doesn't even talk about it on their facebook page. At all! Just a picture of it in a 5th gen camaro.

I heard they're going to make a special announcement about it sometime in April:

"April fools!"

It's been on the Summit and Jegs website for a least 3 months.

As soon as I hear anything else, I'll update this thread, and once I get mine, I'll post a new thread doing a side by side against the FAST 90 I have now.

I have a feeling that once it is shipping, you'll hear more from MSD.

If I had $10 for every time they changed those dates, I'd have enough to buy one of those intakes.

Yep, this is about the 4th time I've posted those dates in this thread. I actually have the individual summit pages bookmarked!

For anyone looking at Summit ship dates regarding new products, you should ignore them. Seriously! Its been a practice of theirs for years and its only meant to give you something to look forward to. Your more likely to put your money down and wait if there's a ship date vs it saying "tbd". You'll save yourself a lot of frustration if u just ignore it. You'll know the true availability dates when other LS part suppliers like Texas Speed , etc get their orders filled and announce something.

I got confirmation that the LS7 intakes have already shipped to their suppliers, and the ls1/2/6 intakes are about 10 days to 2 weeks from doing the same. Once they get to the suppliers, then people will get them.
