We will find out. It doesn't feel oily.

I may. Right now I want to get it running, and break in the motor. Once that's done, the headers and ypipe are getting pulled and ceramic coated, and I might pull the intake and paint it as well. Honestly, I like the way it looks right now, so once everything comes together, I'll make the call then.

Good deal. I also like how it looks out of the box (well, from pictures anyway), but there is a guy in my town that does the hydro-dipping, and I'll have my intake hydro-dipped. Not sure what pattern, but color will be pewter.

Sounds cool. I'm still up in the air at the moment... my head is spinning with so many other things right now, the color of it is not a priority right now.

You say that, but when you look at it, and see all the individual pieces needed to be hand assembled, and the detail in the development you could appreciate it. All of these intakes are works of art from a technical and logistical standpoint.

That's nice to hear. IMO the fast is very fragile when compared to the stock intake. The MSD looks like it means business. Wait till everyone starts selling their fasts lol.

I think I will wait and see how it compares to the LSXrt that I'm running. I doubt it will be any better.

I myself have a Fast 90 I'm about to ditch after I repair it. Typical "torqued it to regular valley bolts" repair.

If the MSD intake is more durable, that's another plus, especially for boosted guys. Hell, it may even be a benefit for the nitrous guys too.

I don't think that was what anyone was hoping to see.

But are the gains over the stock LS7 intake? Vs the LS7 Fast.

Mmmmmhh interesting, I'll stick with a Fast over the MSD though. I think the Fast looks way better than the MSD intake.
