Been a few months since anything has been posted on this. Looking to spend some tax return money and really interested in this manifold. Any news on dyno numbers or anything else?

Yeah I've seen the Dyno sheet from Summit Racing when they tested it but didn't know if anybody had done a comparison on a ported one yet or not. I'm barely over stock with just a cam and it's a daily so I'm not looking for the best flowing intake out there but I know the stock LS1 is good enough for a daily but not any good for making power.

Got word from Mike at Dorman that the LS2 intake they talked about developing is on hold for the time being. I still would really like to see how a ported Dorman stacks up against a genuine ls6 before I decide what to get.
The ls6 can be modified to work with factory ls1 coolant pipes from my understanding, while the Dorman will need the ls6 crossover and rear block offs. Is there anything negative with using the blockoffs? It just sounds like a bad idea but I guess the 01 and 02 cars came like that from the factory. What's the best/cheapest place to buy the ls6 coolant kit?

Sorry to open this old thread but , a new thread " Dorman LS6 intake 615-900 " was started a few days . And there is another old by the same name also , but this is the original thread on the subject and has a lot of good info for those that what know about it........
OP stated in his new thread ........ " Been looking for a LS6 intake for some time now and I cant seem to find a deal on them. But I noticed that Dorman sells an LS6 intake and I am able to find them for about 250.00. Are they worth it? "
That thread has now been closed out now, before I could reply, I wanted to ask him who is selling for $250 , the best I see is $290 with a shipped price to door being over $300.

Here it is the compared dyno test, it was using Trick Flow heads , so there maybe less of a difference with oem heads. Fast 90 vs LS6 vs Dorman
