Default Rear coolant block offs?

I was going to tie in the rear coolant lines that are normally blocked off.
My thinking is it will help keep the engine temps in the same range all over the engine, hopefully creating more durability.

has anyone else done this? or are the benefits so minimal that it is not worth the effort?

Thanks guys

I like to utilize four corner cooling. A little extra coolant flow through the rear corners can't hurt.

I don't care to see that big block sitting on the manifold and lines criss-crossing all over.

I 90'd off the rears, passed under the injectors, tee'd through the fronts and brought left & right together in a Y-block. All in -4 stuff.

That is a cleaner look Paul.
I will update to black lines when I get a chance.
Kurt use to sell the individual parts so you could make your own lines and route them where you want. For me, up here we are so limited on anything AN I was better off using the kit.

I learned about the need for this the hard way a few years ago. After the rebuild, I went with the Kurt Urban kit just because it was convenient to have an "off the shelf" solution.

There are certainly cheaper alternatives out there and mine doesn't look anywhere as nice as Paul's setup above, however it works for me.

You can also use an l92 front steam vent for the rear. Even fits a fast 102 and its oem!

What's the deal with this one? I don't see people throw this option out a lot. It seems like the simple and effective way.

Its for a high rise. Most people use a plastic intake.

What high rise intake? Truck? all the ones I see say they're for a Corvette? Does this not work with a standard plastic LS1 intake? It looks like it would.

That's the LS1 coolant manifold, no longer available and hard to find. It fits under LS1 and truck manifolds and LS6 manifolds if you shave off the manifold's bottom ribs.

Will not fit under F.A.S.T. car manifolds.
