The one facing up is not a port. It's a pilot hole for a supplied bolt to anchor down the map sensor if you chose to run it in the back of the intake.

I didnt realize this before. So thats another issue. Easily remedied but still its another issue I overlooked.

Hopefully Ill have my intake back this weekend. Im going to tap the back of it and add a fitting for the hvac system. Anyone know what size the hvac lines are? Also Ill work on flattening the steam tubes to clear this intake. I dont think itll take much. It looks identical to a fast 92 underneath.

Just to update. Got my intake back today with the runners smoothed out. Im going to drill and tap the intake tomorrow to add a 1/4 nipple for the hvac system. Ill report back on that.

Someone will need to make a write up on how to install these on a 4th gen. Its not a bolt on part and will require some modification. Ill gladly help with what info I have so far. Hope to have it on and running by next weekend.

Would you post pics of your smoothed out runners? It was my first time porting my intake and just curious how yours came out. My heads/cam parts will deliver tomorrow so I won't be to far behind your install date.

Just add a T and just drill for the map sensor

use one T for the hvac and brake booster.

There's a port for the brake booster. May just T into that port.

So if you want to have the map sensor in the front, from the pics it looks like this does not have a sensor port in the same location as the actual ls2 intake (which is front pass. side), but in the cover for the EGR hole there's a port (?) that looks like it would have to be drilled out?

I will post pics as soon as I find time. I have a uncompleted rough draft of a write up but I am not done. I still am dealing with fitment issues.

4 corner steam vent tube didn't fit under my fast, I flattened them out and had them touching the vally cover and still was a no go.

Mine did fit but it was flattened quite a bit. I just found out its leaking too. So Ill see whats up with that when I tear it all back apart.

Dyno'd my car yesterday, can't really factor just the intake manifold with my gains but I'm sure it helped.

Baseline 334/363
with TSP 1 7/8" longtubes, SLP lid, SLP loudmouth II, Frost tune.

stock 853 heads, stock cam, ls1 intake manifold, tb, Strange S60, 4.10 gears, T56

Current 450/419
with TSP 1 7/8" longtubes, SLP lid, SE trueduals, PRC stage 2.5 heads, MS3 cam, Fast 36 injectors, Dorman LS2 intake manifold, Warr 92mm tb, same rear end and trans. Frost canned tune (safe rich tune)

The results look pretty solid, thanks for posting them.

Did you do any porting/runner cleanup on the intake, or is it box stock?

Good results for sure. I hope I can come close to that with a Tick torquemax stage 2 and hand ported heads. Otherwise similiar mods minus the s60.

Also curious if the intake runners was touched up or not. If not its definitely worth doing as the two piece design doesnt mate up real well imo.

I removed the "notches" in the ports but that was it. I'll post by after it gets dyno tuned and show some time slips after this weekend.

The mad rush for the intake has seemed to have slowed down. Which is surprising to me I would have guested it to carry out a bit longer. Rockauto has cornered the online market on these for now . Id ltk ... How many guys have installed and are running the LS2D and Warr 92 tb combo now ?

Thats the setup I'm running. I came from a ls1 intake and ported tb. It was a noticeable upgrade on the butt dyno. I made a thread about the install and how I did it.

I am very happy with my setup. I gained an additional 30whp with the street/dyno tune from my local speed shop. Mods are in my sig. Will report back when I get to hit the track. Going from a baseline of 334whp (just headers/lid/tune) to 480whp is a night and day difference lol.
