H/c/i install question
H/c/i install question I'm gonna install heads cam and intake fast 102 with 92mm throttle body next weekend will I be alright to drive it real easy 45 mints away from me to get it tuned??
Get a base tune first if possible. If you are changing injectors which you will most likely need to, then you do not want to start the car until the proper injector data is programmed in the pcm. Aside from that it will be easier to drive on a base tune...ie less stalling and surging then no.tune at all. Maybe the dyno shop can send you a base?
If you change the injectors absolutely not.
If you don't change the injectors, you might be able to baby it to the tuner but it's gonna run and drive like crap. Either get a baseline tune or tow it, not worth the hassle to try and drive it.

what size is the cam? Putting a few street miles on the car and letting it idle will get the pcm somewhat used to everything and make it drive better but if its real extreme it may not like it.
