I just bought a March setup from Thunder Racing.

The ASP is a regular balancer like stock. March, however, is a fluidamper. It's supposed to help with harmonic vibrations.

Who knows ... couldn't hurt and it was about the same cost.

There have been several threads recently posted related to the March pulley.
A search using "March" will do the trick.

The ASP weighs 7 lbs, 1 oz. My factory pulley weighs 10 lbs, 13 ozs. The ASP has an aluminum inner hub and an outer steel ring for dampening.

Anyone have the weight on the March?

These Powerbond guys can't even get an application list up and their "latest news" is from October 2003. The March pulley supposedly has a similar weight to stock, but the mass is centered in much closer relation to the center of the crank. March is the way to go. Same price, better design.

You arent going to see any big dyno gains with a pulley. The lightweight smaller pulley will help the motor spin up faster, which is something a dyno doesnt measure. The pulley will net you track results that a dyno will never show.

Sidewayz is right. Look for more change in the behavoir of the car than the dyno numbers.

I've seen several Mustangs with March pulleys that rust badly. They had originally had a powder coating that pealed off in time. If they are still using the same powder coating then plan on a rusty pulley.
