Gains from longtubes with my combo
Hello,
I have a 02 z28 with a 212/218 .555/.555 114 lsa cam,MMS Stage 3 CNC Ported 241's (flow really well), and a magnaflow catback. I have stock manifolds and im looking to get a set of headers. I know most people do full bolt ons first, but this car was built with emissions in mind. On a stock car, it looks like 20-25rwhp is common, but since I have the mods above, how much more will I benefit with longtubes? Looking to get a bigger cam in the future as well to match my 4.10 rear gear and 6 speed.

A full tune header would be ideal for your combo the only problem is with emissions in mind. Definitely some good power to be had.
What are you going to do to pass emissions?
Just because companies offer catted connection pipes it doesn't mean that the car will pass as they are generally not o.e. style cats they are race cats.
This all depends on how stringent the testing is in your area.
I see your avatar mentions Orange County CA that = not good news for you...
Have you got the car to pass with the camshaft or the head work?

To be honest I felt more gains in low end torque than top end power doing mine.
