Fast 102 on an LQ4
Fast 102 on an LQ4 Thinking about going with a Fast 102 intake on my LQ4 with Cathedral Port Heads. Ive heard that I would have to clearance the waterpump to make this work. Can anybody tell me how much i would need to clearance and possibly a pic of a what the waterpump looks like after being trimmed. Would i need to do anything else to make it work, im switching from a Fast 90. FYI Im also looking to buy a Fast Intake with throttle body if anybody is looking to get rid of one.

You can see where I started grinding above that bolt. I ended up having to take off some to the left as well. Nobody can give you a measurement, you'll just need to put it on and test fit everything and take it off to grind. Do it in several stages instead of trying to get it perfect in 1 or 2 tries. Many people grind too much and have to buy a new pump because it breaks through to the inside.

Verdad Gallardo I'd at least try grinding it yourself first and possibly save $200. I highly doubt mine has been weakened by the grinding. It's very light and in just the right spots if you do it in stages.
