Yeah. You can cut a piece of aluminum and put it over the entire flat spot and bolt it through the intake with nuts on the inside. The plate can be drilled and NPT tapped for a brass elbow for the brake booster hose. The map is super easy to fab a hold down.

So I would have to cut that hole that sticks to flatten it then put a piece of aluminum over it right? Should I put epoxy or some sort of sealant so air doesn't seep out?

I don't know the first thing about plastic welding and don't want to make it worse then it is. I'll check that thread though. What about using some sort of glue rather than bolts because I've read bolt can cause stress and cause the intake to crack. I figured using some kind of epoxy and gluing the aluminum piece to the intake. If this will work any ideas on which epoxy to use?
I would call Tuned Port Induction Specialities aka TPiS.
They have plastic welding a new snout on the LS6 intake down to a science. TPiS may be willing to repair the intake or explain the correct way to repair it.
Getting their 90mm snout would be timely if getting it repaired by TPiS.
