I would say slightly modified LS1 , mild cam 243 style heads , throttle body upgrade , injectors pollution delete something similar to a daily driven car with a little more than stock 400-500 hp range

It's not a fast 92 but I just recently put a MSD Air Force intake on with a Fast 102 throttle body on my heads/cam build and it pulls noticably harder than my Ls6 intake on the same setup. Especially from about 6200-6800 rpms it is night and day. Laying into it on the highway it just straight flys !

I went from a LS6 to a Fast 92 on my HCI 6.0. To be honest I noticed only a very slight improvement. I remember talking to a guy who made the same swap on a similar build and made 9 hp more with a Fast 92. Same dyno about one week apart

Im in the same boat. I have an LS6 intake and been debating about stepping up to a fast 92. My tuner suggested not to make the swap as he said he hasnt been impressed with the swap. So im not sure.

The Fast isn't worth the money vs H.P. gain.

I actually have the Fast 92mm and the 92 mm throttle body . The reason I ask if it could be any better is because over half of the people on here are running the LS6 intake so I thought maybe I was missing something . I think the issue with the Fast or equal intakes are that they cost a **** ton of money. I think I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $1800 bucks for the intake and throttle body that might be why lots of people run the LS6 intake NOW with that said I'm sure there are lots of other reasons ...so please don't whip me over stating that please !

Lol! It can be a hot topic. The fast intakes are hard to justify for some and for others they are a must have. As you do more and more mods, the fast will tend to future proof you.

For others it's too much money for not much gain. Sort of like vacuum pump, EWP, crank scraper, etc. but add all those little gains up and suddenly you're making a significant amount of power.

It's all relative. To some it's worth it, to others it's not. But it was worth it me lol.

Take that LS6 intake and get it off there. Upgrade the rest of your intake tract as well.

Yes it's worth it especially if you increase the rpm range to make use of it...too many guys cam their LS, shift them at 6200 rpm, and run like poo.

Check out what I put down on my 2003 Z06 with bolt ons. A ported FAST 102 will really help carry out the power where you want it. Didn't lose TQ like people claim.
