Question Fast 90mm, not 92mm is it worth it at all?

Ok guys, I bought this intake for my 2006 V with an ls2 and never installed it.
I may sell the V. So I now have this intake.
I have a 00 camaro ss with an ls1 intake.
I have an ls6 and this fast 90.

So with that in mind when is the fast 90 a good time to install it?
Or is a fast 90 even worth a flip at all?
Like at what roughly hp level or rpm level with a cam n heads setup?
I read the 90 needs a little cleaning of the ports to get the best out of it as it's not perfect.

If you have heads and cam it's worth a good 10-15 hp over the LS6

You have to remember all the little numbers add up when you put them together

So while they do have a high price point, eventually on a build it will separate decent power numbers with great numbers

So is it worth 10-15 Hp for 900-1k, not really. But you want all of the modifications to add up to give you that desired power band you want for the car

I say it's worth it. If you have a FAST 90mm, port the inlet out to 92mm and you have yourself a FAST 92. I'm running a fully ported FAST 90mm intake (runners and inlet ported) and I love it.

Fast 90 is worth a **** ton over the LS1 intake on the car. I did that swap on a cam only LS1 and it was a whole different animal above 3000 rpms (at the time I didn't have a stall).

Still worth it over a ls6 intake since you already have it.

Didn't really wanna port it, unless your saying porting the tb area to 92mm which won't be a problem. Is there any areas in this intake that need cleaning up ?
I only paid $500 or $550 for this intake about a year ago with the harness for the map sensor.
I have an ls6 intake also. I still figuring what cam I want to install in this car as it's more a daily driver.

Unless you have an idea of what you're doing I wouldn't port it. You could actually make it worse than stock

You can smooth the runners. For a basic port. An advanced port would be matching the diameter of the runner outlet to the diameter of the cylinder head, but that's going to take a laser eye and a surgeon's hand

Yeah I'd just do a basic port to clean up the runners or any other place that needs a smoother finish.
Is that a 90 that you ported or cleaned up Chrysler kid?
Do you have any before pics?
