Project Car Help

Okay guys,I bought a 02 WS6 with a seized motor got it home and as of right now its all apart, and I'm repainting the engine bay, but when I was dropping the motor I noticed the person before me had a T off section from the brake booster vacuum line running all the way to the transmission. The transmission is supposedly a built 4l60E. Only thing I could think of was a manual valve body if that's even possible with this transmission. Do any of you guys know why he could have did that?

Strange, I have no idea. However if that vacuum source is necessary, I would reroute it from somewhere else. I wouldn't want anything T'd off of the brake booster hose that could potentially cause a leak in the future.

Where/how did it attach to the tranny? 4L60E's do not have vacuum modulators.

I most likely was a manual shift TransGo 4L60E-A shift kit in it that uses a modulator valve.

Connected here on the tranny

And this was the hose running from the T on the vacuum line to the brake booster
