Default Oil pooling in front of block

About to start removing my intake (in another post y’all have answered my question about that. I noticed oil pooling up on the passenger side at the front of the block. Are there any areas I should look for oil leaking? The valve cover does not look to be the culprit.

Hey any ideas on where oil could be leaking? The passenger side has oil pooling in that circle area. Valve cover is stained with oil but doesn’t look to be dripping down from there.

Oil being sucked into the intake manifold via the PCV system, seeping out of one of the intake seals

I just got a better look at the pic. Now not sure what I said is right. The pool area is at the front of the lower corner of the head, right above the A/C bracket and exhaust manifold? It could still be the valve cover, but not positive. Could you get another shot from another angle?

By valley cover you mean the cover under the intake where knock sensors are?

If you havent done it yet I would change the PCV system to the LS6 version... much cleaner and removes a bunch of junk around the top of the engine

Is that just below the oil filler neck & cap?

Sometimes when I add oil between oil changes, often oil gets spilled or drips down into that area just below the filler cap.

Occams's Razor

Just the same, looks kinda like it's coming from the valley cover.
