LS1 alternator ground strap

LS1 alternator ground strap Behind the alternator there is a flat metallic ground wire, I'm not sure where exactly each end of that ground is supposed to connect. All I know is, I had the car in for service and they connected one end of this flat ground to the ground bolt on top of the driver shock tower. I want the strap back in the OEM locations, but I don't know where that is? I certainly don't want it in it's current location. Thanks!

That ground attaches to a bolt that either holds the heat-shield over the brake lines located by the fuse box or directly beside it. I.E. it is mounted on top of the ground that comes out of the fuse box right beside abs module.
I had a better look at this ground strap. It goes from the engine block over the alternator and to the frame near the fan. Pictures should tell the story.
It's just taped onto that wire loom as it passes over the alternator.

Thanks for the help, guys. We found the ground, and also found that the second ground wire had a missing eyelet...both are now connected to the OEM ground location.
