Installing heads/cam with a torque converter

So I've ordered a Yank 3600 and some 243 Heads/a BTR3 cam to replace my 241s & stock cam. I was wondering could I install these at the same time ? After reading some threads some have mentioned how torque converters require a "break-in" period. And I also know I'd need a tune right after the H/C but I don't want to mess my new TC up getting a tune before breaking it in . What's the best route to go ? Should I install the TC first, drive around/break it in and then do the H/C later ? Also, could I get by without a tune running just the TC & 243 heads for a week or two ?

Do it all at once and get a tune. Your trans tables will need an adjustment when you do the converter and you'll definitely need a tune for the cam.

I dont recommend driving it with an aftermarket converter and no transmission tuning

With that size cam I'd get it all done at once and tow it to the tuner. Try to avoid washing out the cylinders.

Do everything at once, pull out PCM and have him load up a start up tune then drive it to him.
