Default Got My LS6 Intake On...

Thanks everyone for the info and advice, especially Constrictor! Started it up, no codes, idled fine. Does it take a while for the computer to learn itself to the new intake, or should I notice an immediate difference, and if so, where in the powerband? I added this and a Jantzer ported TB at the same time, so I am hoping it pays off. Thanks again guys!

I would recommend tuning it to see the full effects, the A/F ratio could be changed.

Retune the car and see what the dyno says. With your mods you should see good gains.

You can either keep the egr and buy a SLP LS6 Intake or get a regular LS6 Intake and buy a LPE Adapter for the egr to hookup. The other option is to take off the entire egr system, buy blockoff plates, and then put on a regular LS6 Intake--a SES light will come on, no harm, just annoying, and can be programmed out.

http://www.lingenfelter.com/home.asp

They are 150, and a used intake is usually around 300 if you find one, so 450 plus shipping and you still don't have coolant pipes, and have to drill the intake for the adapter. The SLP is 465 w/ pipe/plugs and costs 25 to ship usually, but you can catch a gp or sale sometimes on slp stuff in the sponsor section. If it was me, and was going to keep the car for a while, I might invest in some tuning or a program edit or hptuners, and buy a regular one. TSP has them new for 360.
