Default Traction Control problem...

First off, I have no clue where to throw this question...

I just put in a new clutch, and now my cruise doesn't work and the SES light is on and throwing a clutch switch code...

I was going through the gears and one time I nailed 3rd and I got a bunch of axle hop (as usual) but the LOW TRAC light came on. I had ASR off, but the light came on. I'm very confused and have no clue how/why it came on.

Any ideas?

There's a switch that turns off the cc when you push in the clutch ( same as brake ). Any chance you unplugged it or accidentally yanked a wire out while you were in there?

I've checked twice. I'll pull everything out again to check again as i've checked every wire under the car going into the tranny.

That still doesn't solve my ASR problem yet...

It's basically the same system. Parts of the cruise control system overlap the ASR which overlap the ABS. So you might want to broaden your possibiities when trying to diagnose this. The clutch switch code is the only code thrown?

I understand what you're saying.

The only code being thrown is this clutch switch code.

You had to bleed the clutch, yes? Is the clutch pedal hanging lower than normal? Maybe the switch isn't being contacted correctly causing you some grief.
No ABS INOP light correct?

We bled the master/slave in the car. The pedal feels great. I've been trying to figure out if maybe it's not coming all the way back up though...

The only time my abs inop light came on was when I dyno'd it.

Is there any slack in the pedal, ie. if you pull up on the pedal by hand, it there play?
You could also trying checking continuity on the switch itself.

That happened to me also, what the hell is that?

Nope, it's up as far as I can get it pulled up. I dont know if there is any vacuum that would prevent it from getting pulled any further up though. I thought about checking the switch but it was perfectly fine before the install.

The reason the ABS INOP light comes on when you dyno your car is because your rear wheels are moving while your fronts are stationary. This throws off the ABS system because, well, i'm not sure why, but I know that's the reason

That makes sense, but it caught me off guard when I started the car up and the inop light came on.

Sometimes the SES code throws you for a loop. It might not have anything to do with the clutch switch. Better be safe though and check that the switch is good, and that the clutch pedal contacts it correctly. It wouldn't hurt to check the fuses too.
