Question Issues with QTP catted Y and SLP SFC's?

Hi all, has anyone had any issues with the QTP catted Y and SLP subframe connectors?

I was going true duals, but being in college, it aint going to happen right now . So I may have some pieces to run duals for sale. Since I cant go duals, the catted Y is my best bet.

I have the QTP Catted Y and SLP Bolt on SFC's. Upon installing the Y on a lift, we found the drivers side pipe that bolts directly onto the header collector was bent the wrong way. It would not clear the SFC's. I ended up having the muffler shop bend a new peice to fit. If you have a good muffler shop that can mandrel bend piping please go a custom Y. Cheaper and will be custom fit to your car.

Unfortunately, the best place I know of is a good hike away. I remember reading your post. From what I read, and have been told, its a 50/50 chance. Ill still take all the feedback I can get. Thanks .

Dont even bother wasting your time and money on it...like previously said, get one custom made for your car.

P.S...from what i've been reading over the past year after dealing w/ the b/s from them...its not 50/50 anymore...more problems than anything now. Good luck w/ whatever you end up going w/.

I caught onto what you were talking bout-i think they misinterpreted (sp?) what your coment was. A custom Y-pipe is definitely the best route IF you use a TRUE merge collector, after all, that is what QTP did. They probably have the best flowing Y-pipe on the aftermarket

I found a killer deal on a catted Y. And soon I will be installing it with the QTP LT's, when I get some time . I am going to run the QTP catted Y for a while, maybe try a dif catback, then go duals. As soon as its on, I will post about it. Which could be a while.
