how to remove washer fluid reservoir?

Default how to remove washer fluid reservoir?

how do you guys remove it? I never drive it in the rain.

It's your car and all but why bother? If it's for weight just leave the tank empty.

well since its not my daily driver i was gonna remove it and put the fluid in my DD as it need some, so how would I do that?

its not hard.... just pull off the upper radiator support, there are 4 clips, i think on the tank,... just pull them all of and slide it up between the radiator and crossmember.

it looks better, saves weight, and allows more air to hit the radiator.

I did it for the air purposes, not really for weight. I never used mine and it really cleans up the engine bay. It's pretty straight forward to remove, if you get under there with a flashlight you can see everything you need to remove.

so i just need to remove those 4 clips on the reservior, nothing else? Does it then slide out from the bottom or from the top?

Slides out from the bottom. Be sure to disconnect the wire and line for the fluid before you go yanking down on it. You'll have to manuever it some to get it out.
