Stock Y with LTs?
Stock Y with LTs? Just traded my old car (95 Firehawk) for a 99 T/A, the T/A has pacesetter LTs, ORY and Hooker cat-back...it seems a little raspy, I was wondering if I can get the stock y to work on the LTs without much trouble...the ORY bangs the hell out of the floor as it is so I can deal with it if the stock y does.
How does it sound?! LOL sorry I cant help you out but I am having LTs installed with a hooker ORY pipe, and hooker exhaust. I'm a little worried about it being raspy and too loud! I know it was very quiet with the stock manis and cats though...
Well the cats are a 2.5 inlet/outlet right? the pipe is a 3 inch so it won't exactly work right will it? BrandonSS, it doesn't sound bad, not to loud I wouldn't worry, when you really rev it up its a little raspy but not like my old Loudmouth with SLP headers 
Well I'm not really looking for a true dual set up. Yes i've seen both set ups, I know they can weld to downsize the pipe so it mates with the cat but the question is will it affect the flow that much?

Texas Speed has a catted y-pipe that will work with the Pacesetter headers.
It might be possible for you to make the stock y-pipe work, but you would be better off putting your money towards an aftermarket y-pipe with cats. They aren't that expensive and would not hurt your power output like a modified stock pipe might.
