if some guys wanna pay up to 1400 for headers, fine by me.
i paid 1200 total for a cam kit, installing and tuning.
i gained way more power from the cam than i ever would from headers.
headers and y pipe were 500

hmm....paid 700 total for kooks 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 and a Kooks ORY, bought seperately.

the great thing about stainless is you can find them used in great condition as they don't wear out. i wouldn't pay 1400 bucks for headers unless i had a 'vette of some sort.

I have PaceSetters Coated and the Coating is peeled off up to the flanges . I would go with the Kooks.

I'm going to go with Kooks because I haven't heard a single complaint about installing them, very little about them banging, they're stainless and will never rust and, they have THE best catted y clearance. I'm lowered so I need that.

And they sound like war.

This voting has been a landslide, I wonder what he's going to choose?

If I had the money to spend, what would i buy? I bought Pacesetters (coated) because they are cheap and i got the headers plus ory for $525 shipped. This left me about $2500 out of my $3000 buget for TEA heads, a 224 cam, slp lid, subframe connectors. I do not care if they wont be the best looking headers years down the road. I bought them for the fact thay make power comparible to the other headers on the market.

If money was not an object I'm sure almost everyone would say Kooks. However, I do have to work for a living and couldn't care less about surface rust. I vote Pacesetter.

My vote is Stainless Works. Check into them. DO you really need the stepped headers? whats your application? Look at that before buying anything. What is your goal with the car?
