I'm looking for an LS6 manifold with EGR provisions for my 2000 Camaro. As you probably know, from 1998 up to and including 2000 LS1 engines came with an LS1 manifold that had provisions for EGR emissions systems. In 2001 GM did away with EGR so there isn't a port on the LS6 manifold to hook up to. The fix for this was to remove the EGR equipment from the cars which then gave a trouble code that could be tuned out, but for people in DEQ areas that did emissions testing this could be a problem.
So along came SLP that bought LS6 manifolds from GM and then installed fittings for the EGR system.

The only 2 games in town that I know of were SLP that sold the modded manifold and Liegenfelder (sp) that sold fittings for the mod. Unfortunately SLP stopped selling their manifolds and Liegenfelder stopped selling the fitting

Unfortunately for me, I have an SLP manifold that has a hole in it and I can't find anyone around here that does plastic welding, so I need a manifold.

So do you think you can do something ? I apologize if I've bored you
John

That can be JB welded, then sanded and painted and you will never see it

My fear of that is that the JB will eventually start to flake off inside the manifold and get sucked in to the motor. Also there's no way that I can put a backing inside to hold the Jb flat against the wall. I don't know, I may be over thinking this.

I would simply cut up a piece of plastic or sheet metal to cover the hole and JB Weld it on the outside. No JB Weld would need to be inside. At the back of the manifold, I doubt if it will be seen.

Ah shucks. I'm gonna hate to see you go after you prove your point. It's been fun watching this thread.
Can you think of anything else that you can say or do to start another debate ?
Oh I know. It seems that the cars you dyno are elevated. Can this be causing a richer mixture because of the higher altitude ?
Could this be the reason for the hp increase ?
Duh !

Is there anyway you could add a promo code online to make it $105 instead of having to call in?

Our promo codes only work globally - not for just 1 part. It will cost me $700 to make that change in the system - So sorry please call

ohm test granatelli custom length v's MSD custom length.
I will be putting these on the car in about 1-2 weeks and then do a dyno comparison. Sorry for the Aussie accent!
I hope you can understand what im saying.

When i hold the ohm meter's wires in by hand to make perfect contact it reads 00.3 and fluctuates to 00.4
Holding the camera i was not able to hold the ohm meter leads in perfect contact with the wires i just had to let them sit inside the wires on their own weight.

As you can see the ohm readings i did the other day on the MSD wires are the same when i hold the ohm meter wires in properly they measure the following:

I was confused as well but did not want to ask - sometimes even with Video proof - it is still not good enough - this test was done 1/2 way around the world and they still think I rigged it

I've never doubted the 0 ohms. I just doubt it amounts to a hill of beans.
