I know you were. If I thought you weren't I would have ask Joe to make room for another bashee

I was thinking the same thing. Clay bar, 2 coats of Meguiars NXT, and a top coat of Mothers Carnauba wax as the top coat. Like I do on the body.
Seriously though this manifold was stamped for ZO6 and I think WS6's. It has some really rough passages with lots of burrs and feathers. I know that I'm gonna remove the burrs and feathers, but I don't know if there's anything to gain by polishing internally

I will take u up on that offer(free dyno test of the plug wires)..lol. I can be the West Coast Representative. I don't think I am on stock wires though, but they do have some miles on them(40+ thousand). This would be on my 98 Trans Am..I think JR would remember me by my 30th Anniv T/A. I was at your car show 2 years ago. I also bought about 20 sets of lower control arms at like $20 each when I was there..lol..car & mods are in the signature. Maybe we can shut some people up.

Props to Granatelli for backing up his product and taking time from his busy schedule to show a bunch of doubters (myself included) that his wires are in a class of their own.

I'm gonna bite. Granatelli, can you send me a direct checkout link or quote for a set of these wires for my 2000 WS6. Also....Would you recommend the "severe duty wires"? I'll be doing a header install and dont wanna burn up my new $100+ wireset!

That would be a sweet test, you could get NA results and nitrous results as well.

Glad to know the test will be so objective.

It doesn't matter. Some people aren't going to believe it anyway.

If people get consistent non biased evidence/proof it is one thing. A scientist tests a theory for repeatable results and comes to a conclusion.

A person testing for a predetermined conclusion is likely to find a way to "prove" they were "correct" all along. Especially if they have something to sell or want to believe so bad they didn't "waste" a considerable chunk of money.

Hence why I don't care about the videos in this thread so far.

I'm not a "hater", I'm a skeptic. I don't like spending my hard earned money on snake oil, hopes, and dreams.

Why do you think I want to get on their dyno & see it for myself? It's like a ghost, I don't believe they exist until I see one for myself, or a UFO..lol

I'm gonna order a set myself. 24 page thread of mainly bashing these claims and Granatelli takes time out of their schedule to prove that their product does in fact equate to some gains on the dyno. And like baalic stated, I'm not buying these expecting to put up huge numbers on the dyno, I'm buying some quality wires hoping that just maybe they do free up a few hidden horses in my engine. In the grand scheme of things, $105 isn't too big a risk.

I'm sold, even if everyone else still has their doubts.

why not just take initiative and call instead of waiting.

I've got a set of MSD's in now, and if you're game to compare both against each other, let's do it! We can even video the whole thing as well to put this to rest.

Let me know,

Let's do this! lol..

So my wires showed up yesterday. I couldn't wait to before/after dyno because frankly I didn't care about hp. But after install I will say that I must of had a bad wire because my car was loping ever so slightly and I dismissed it as an m6 thing but now my idle is as smooth as my a4... Also seems to have gained a little SOTP that I won't say was JUST from the grans but obviously a combo of a bad factory wire and new grans..

Quality wise... Im amazed. These wires are STOUT but somehow are barely less flexible then stockers..

Thumbs up for a quality product and sorry I didnt get you guys dyno numbers..

Delivery time.. Ordered on Thursday arrived on Tuesday!

I'll update again if I have any troubles with them but so far so good!!

If more people test these wires. This will make or break this company.

Granatelli doesn't seem to be concerned about it. Unless there is something in their wires that will make a dyno read higher, at face value it's hard to call BS. It's a pretty big risk to take if you know you are wrong.

I will be ordering my set this week. I am going to the dyno on the 30th.
