I will be putting these on the car in about 1-2 weeks and then do a dyno comparison. Sorry for the Aussie accent!
I hope you can understand what im saying.

When i hold the ohm meter's wires in by hand to make perfect contact it reads 00.3 and fluctuates to 00.4
Holding the camera i was not able to hold the ohm meter leads in perfect contact with the wires i just had to let them sit inside the wires on their own weight.

As you can see the ohm readings i did the other day on the MSD wires are the same when i hold the ohm meter wires in properly they measure the following:

very nice now it is dyno time...wish you had shorter wires...my msd's are only 25 ohm...make sure to do a A-B-A test...not just an A-B...

thanks for posting

Im going to do the dyno in about 2 weeks, but im still going to say the gain might be very minimal as the ohms of MSD v's Granatellis are very close 40ish ohms on the shortest MSD upto 100ish ohms on the longest MSD.

In granatelli's video it was 800ish ohms v's 0 ohms.
i think there will be an improvment but i dont see it going to be massive gains when only dropping such a small amount of resistence from the wires.

The true test was granatelli's dyno test stock wires (800 ohms) v's his (0 ohms).
I do not have stock wires as mine are all custom length due to the coils being relocated.

That being said i will still post the results and AFR's.

I agree.. Gotta be some horses hiding somewhere. RP oil to better plug wires, UDP, to best rear end housing and gears. Everything should add up to around 20hp extra, if you itemize everything. If the GMS wires show multiple ~20hp gains I'll get em. But for now my MSD wires are on and I don't have the money to spring for extra wires.

^ The gloves are really not a bad idea. Avoid losing skin and burning your hands. Nice. Dunno why I never thought of that. I enver wear gloved when working on my car.

I am going to order a set of these wires for my G8 tomorrow. I will be installing and dyno tuning a FAST 102 intake next week. After tuning for the intake is done I will swap the wires and do an extra pull to see if there is any gain. I will be very surprised but happy if there is.

Please do at least three pulls with the new wires. IF there's any increase (and I think there will be some increase), only one pull showing it will trigger the bashing all over again.

My post was supposed to read 105 as promised but Damnyouautocorrect decided it would change it to "dad promised" then I tried to correct by sayin as promised not dad promised and that didn't come out right Eaither... So there you have it. $14 shipping so 119 bucks shipped for something made in the USA. With a life time warranty.. Sounds fair to me..

I bet you will see an increase in MPG's with these wires at least...that might be worth it right there!

I would simply cut up a piece of plastic or sheet metal to cover the hole and JB Weld it on the outside. No JB Weld would need to be inside. At the back of the manifold, I doubt if it will be seen.
I know, but just trying to keep the thread going until the tests with some constructive talk. The manifold is done. I welded a patch of the same material over the holes, using a soldering iron and then JB welded over it.
.

I never was any good at body work

Yes it is Come on Paul, you're one of the people that gave me the incentive to do this. And I'm gonna predict 130 additional h.p. without the hole. I should have done some before and after dyno runs with this manifold
