LS1sounds is the best place to listen online, like said above. I just put the Hooker on mine and I really like it, it's not real loud, but has a deep, throaty sound.

IMO duals are the way to go if u want a powerful sound. I got mine not too long ago and will never go back, theres no rasp at all and the tone is smooth under normal driving, but at WOT its a hell of a head turner!
The power diff was very noticeable over what i had(mac ORY and 1 chamber FM dumped). You will get alot more bottom end torque with a dual setup also.

yeah the GMMG is the way to go if you have the cheddar to fork over...classic american muscle car..and then there is my personal favorite..CORSA..hehe..but i agree with LS1_AXX on the dual setup cant beat that..

The Borla is a rip off if bought new.
If you dont plan on putting headers or removing the cats then your money will be best spent on a loudmouth or tsp rumbler. My vote would be for the rumbler since its only 199 bucks. You could resuse your tips.
Incase you dont know the rumbler and loudmouth are pretty much straight pipe through a bullet muffler or resonator in the I pipe and then straight pipe split into 2 pipes just over the axle.

I'm runnin' pacesetters lt's with an ory that has a flowmaster 3'' y-collector in it, going through a hooker areochamber single in/single out muffler dumped before the rear fascia.. It definatley has that old school muscle car sound to it, not that high pitched sound that the ls1's tend to have with a regular catback crossflow muffler... Mine kinda almost sounds like a stang with a set of macs or flows on it, which sound nice imo.

If you are keeping the stock manifolds I'd go with the loudmouth. Put mine on a year ago and absolutely love it. Yeah, its loud...but not annoyingly loud, and it sounds good IMO. Guess it all depends on personal preference.
