Default GM Perf. vs. SLP LS6 Intake?

Is there any difference between the two manufactures for the LS6 Intake. Wondering if there is any cons from either one even though I wouldn't think there would be much of a difference from the two. I'm gonna have to get one with the EGR provision to stay smog legal here in CA. Just curious on your guy's input.

If you want to use the egr get the SLP. This is the only one that allows you to use your egr. I think SDPC might sell a kit to convert the LS6 intake to be used with your egr.

The GM intake doesn't have EGR. The SLP intake does. Otherwise both the same thing.

If speed inc. uses something other than the SLP way of hooking up the egr I would go that route. Quite a few people have had problems the their SLP intake leaking at the egr connection. Mine hasn't yet(knock on wood), but when I disconnected it I could see that the threads in the brass nut were already starting to wear. This is after only a thousand or so miles. I don't know how long it will last before I have a leak, and I think it might be difficult to find a replacement. I would try something else if I had to do it over again.

The only reason why I went with the SLP was because of the EGR. Other wise they are the same thing.
