Is there any difference between the two manufactures for the LS6 Intake. Wondering if there is any cons from either one even though I wouldn't think there would be much of a difference from the two. I'm gonna have to get one with the EGR provision to stay smog legal here in CA. Just curious on your guy's input.

If speed inc. uses something other than the SLP way of hooking up the egr I would go that route. Quite a few people have had problems the their SLP intake leaking at the egr connection. Mine hasn't yet(knock on wood), but when I disconnected it I could see that the threads in the brass nut were already starting to wear. This is after only a thousand or so miles. I don't know how long it will last before I have a leak, and I think it might be difficult to find a replacement. I would try something else if I had to do it over again.
