Default MTI lid vs. Others

I've been researching, gonna buy a lid soon. Thinking about going with the MTI. Anybody have any problems with MTI lids as far as fit or function, ship time or anything else. SLP is probably the other best choice, just not personally thrilled with SLP stuff. Any input/recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

MTI is a great lid. Personally, I have an SLP Lid. Perfect fit and finish.

That's what I've heard and read on the SLP, think the MTI is just as good?

With a lid and a flux capacitor you must fly!!!!!!!!

MTI makes good stuff. I read somewhere, a long time ago and I can't remember where, the MTI and SLP lids make the most HP. MTI beat SLP by 0.1 hp IIRC

Yeah, it was in GMHP a couple years back. MTI has the article on their site.

Come to think of it, it's hanging on the wall in their shop too.

Either way, MTI or SLP, you'll be getting a good lid.

SLP is supposed to have the best fitting lids, also I think one of the top flowing. But a lid is a lid.

Love it, I had no problems since I bought it a couple years back. The fitment is perfect, and truthfully I felt a gain when I put it on. Most people say that is BS but I felt a gain. If I had to pick another lid again it still would be the TSP.

I've had a few different lids. I really like my MTi clear lid. I've had no problems with it. They are great to deal with too.

My SLP lid doesn't fit that great. It's hard to get the tabs in it rubs the hood just a bit.
