Question Front O2 sensors

I recently finished installing my pacesetter LT's and true duals. I got the race style headers and had the AIR, and rear O2's deleted to stop the SES. My problem is that I used the O2 extensions from the header kit and they were the crappy do-it-yourself type, which of course I scrwed up . Now I am throwing front O2 codes and have probaly destroyed my O2's in the process . My question is should I buy real o2 extensions from a sponser and new o2's or should I buy rear o2's from a vette which are already long enough without extensions? I have done some searching and have read problems with throwing codes even with extensions and have also read that the vette ones suck unless you buy the GM replacements. Which way would be the cheapest and safest way to go? Thanks in advance.

I am almost certain that the vette o2 will be long enough. The best way to go though would be buying the vette o2's. I would not waste money on new stock ones and take the chance that they might crap out on you in the future. You can try using your rear o2 on the front, they are interchangable. Actually, do that first and see if it works, it did for me. If those burn up as well go with the vette o2's.

yeah I had the same problem. I also went with the Vette 02's and they worked like a charm. nothing to extend. no more variables for me to screw up.

the vette ones work great . we've used them plenty of times just for the reason you staed no other connections to fail or cause issues

Least expensive would be to get a set used extensions and use your old rear O2s with them. Even with new extensions, reusing your old rear O2s would be cheaper than new Vette rears.

I ordered the pacesetter extensions with my headers, work just fine for me so far.(I wasn't about to use that patch together crap). But I had recently replaced my O2s anyway. If you have mucho miles on yours, might consider the 'vette O2s with longer wires and get it all done at once.
