So you think the LS1 is bad? PCV filter pics! After doing the PCV filter on the Camaro I figured I would do it on my daily driver as well. I found some oil in the intake when I was working on it in August. Truck is a 2001 Ford F150 5spd with the 4.2L V6. The PVC valve is mounted vertically in the valve cover, not horizontally like the LS1. It also has a 90 degree plastic fitting on the end. I figured it cant be as bad as the LS1's crappy system. You be the judge! Keep in mind Ive owned the truck since new and it only has only 42000 miles on it and has been maintained well since new.
