Default What can i do when i get LTs?

Hello guys, im oging to be ordering my LTs here soon and i need to know what to do with my exhaust. I have borla catback now, but i hear it will sound horrible with LTs and ORY. I need to know if i can change the muffler in my borla or what to get abetter sound. I was thinking of selling the borla and getting the LTs with TSP X pipe sweet thunder set up, but i am lowered 2" so how bad would clearance really be? Also i am a TA and hate the look with no exhaust tips........ Should i try and modify my borla, i dont want to restrict flow by using all block off plates, i jsut want a free flowing exhaust that sounds mean as hell. Suggestions? Thanks!

If money is not an issue get true duals out the back. To me that is what sounds the best but it is not cheap.

So will LTs, borla and catted y still flow enough to make it worth the cash? And how will it change the sound. I want a deep rumble and insane loud at WOT

Look into TSP catted Y. You can get Pacesetter coateds and Catted Y for $700 plus shipping. Having them installed on mine Friday. I have Hooker catback and love the sound. Sounds beastly at WOT but nice and quiet at cruise.

Yea. not sure if i really want to go with a catted y. I might jsut get LTs and ORY and play around with my plates and if it all sounds horrible, might look into a new exhaust.

You can always weld the XR1 muffler in the I-pipe. That's what I will have in less than a month. Flowtech Coated LT's, ORY, and Borlamouth. The XR1 in the LM should have the same affect as a XR1 in a Borla Cat-back.

Maybe ill like the sound of the LTs/ory/borla, I really want a loud idle/rumble and deadly at WOT so i may like it, but if the rasp is too much or tractor sounding, ill screw around with my plates and if none of that works, maybe ill look for a different exhaust.

Yeah just weld it into your I-Pipe. If I were you like you said. Put your LT's on play around with your plates. If you like the way it sounds then stick with it. If it's raspy then put the XR1 in the I-pipe and that will take care of it. I believe it's going to sound badass wit out the XR1

Yea im sure it will be hella loud. So let me get this straight..... The I pipe is which pipe? And if i weld the XR1 in there, will i be running 2 mufflers than? Or if the stock borla muffler in the I pipe already and im jsut switching mufflers? Thanks!

The I-pipe is the intermidiate pipe. The single pipe that runs from the Y-Pipe over the axle. If it is to loud and raspy. Just weld the XR1 in the I-pipe right before it goes over the axle. So yes you will have two BORLA muffler's in the system. The XR1 is very low restrictive. So it's not going to hurt your power to bad.
