Longtubes + ORY + loudmouth and you will be stabbing your ears out with a pencil due to the unbearable FAGGATORY that will be escaping from your exhaust tips.

{notes: worst sound imaginable from a v8 powered car}

Thats not even a comparison, the duals will make more power, by 10-15rwhp if i had to guess.

Hmm you're not understanding this. My duals are loud, but they sound great. The loudmouth+ory+LT's will sound HORRIBLE! Not loud, absolutly HORRID. Imagine a broken down tractor kind of horrid.

Every heard the word RASP used on these boards? Well this is the definition of it.

- And I'm 19 as well

I have Pacesetters,O/R Y,Loudmouth with a 18in bullet in the I pipe. I dont have a problem with it, and Ive never been told it sounded nasty. Granted with my stalled A4 it can get loud but not terrible. It's tame at part throttle but at WOT it sings, Ive been told by several people it sounds good.

Now as far as power #s, I think as long as you do an O/R Y with flowmaster merge the gains going to duals are minimal and not worth the interior noise you'll have. The only way to do duals in my opinion is do i right and get the BMR panhard relocator and do all mandrel bent out the back. Dont let anyone tell you 3in mandrel bent duals cant be done. Bullshit, Ive seen it done and it sounds freakin awesome.

3" single ORY flows up to 370hp, 3" duals flows 812HP....uummm, I wonder which one now??? But if you are wanting to make more power, bigger is not better. It depends on the mods done to your car. 3" duals prolly wont be needed, 2.5 duals will prolly be just right for ya. 2.5" duals flows up to 513hp

Asking myself the same question except about his whole statement. Do a search on PatrickG. I believe he proves this wrong.

Yes I have heard it, and thought (as did all other people after that person drives away), that it sounds like hell. Heard a few cars with this setup, and even setups close to it. EVEN with different mufflers, sound the same IMO. Maby i'm spoiled? Only y-pipe car with headers that i've really liked was a TA with open borla, maby just because it had a MS3 in it

Are you sure you just dont work out alot?

Everyone has different tastes. Just the same as I would never put blackout tail light covers on a car, some people think they look great.

Hmmm. The LTs, Y-pipe and BorlaMouth sound pretty good and have flowed 576rwhp for me so far. I also like having the exhaust come out the back, so the small HP gain wouldn't be worth dumping the exhaust under the car.
