they are a musthave on these cars imo

the stock ones dont last and they let the engine move way too much

if you have a 6 speed they will keep your exhaust from banging and the gear stick from jumping when you are snatching on the car

Here is the direct link to Thunder... LINK

Once you get the old ones out you have to use a 3/8 bit to drill out the rivits holding the metal pieces together. Put the poly mount in, and use the supplied bolts to secure the metal pieces together again. Its easy to do but getting them out and back in can be a royal PIA! Expect to take ~4 hours if all goes smoothly.

BTW, you might as well do a poly tranny mount while you are at it. Its only another $23 and takes about 25 mins to do.

Taking out the mounts and putting them back in is the bitch. Mounts will come with install instructions.

I am getting ready to do these as well, but I have heard that poly tranny mounts only cause problems. I am an A4 car.....what will I gain by putting in a poly tranny mount? Why do people claim that they only cause probelms?

they do not cause problems is installed properly. i am also an A4 car and i just installed a prothane tranny mount 2 weeks ago. at first the vib was really bad but it was because of a bent driveshaft. i read somewhere about spaceing the cross brase from the body with a washer at each 4 bolt holes b/c the prothane mount is a couple cm taller than the stock one. once i did this and got the new DS and evorything back togeather their are verry little viberations at all. and the longer i have it the better it gets, hafta give it time to break in.

also, im about to do the motor mounts also!

I installed just the drivers side mount and left the passenger side rubber. Engine is rock stable, no movement that I can detect.
