Default good sleeper idea?

I really want to give this "Sleeper" thing a try. Here is what i was thinking...

Z28 M6
232/230 .580"/.580" 110 LSA
LS6 59cc heads
Intake, Headers and Y (the usuall)

here is where things get different:

before the cat, electric cutout
after the cat, V6 Exhaust

Would the v6 exhaust bolt up? I'm sure i can find someone on v6fbody.com who would trade everything from the cat back with me. Also, with the v6 exhaust, would it sound like its got a 232/230 in it? Or would it sound like a v6 with a muffler?

Don't know, but I really doubt it. With a 110, there is no way you going to be much of a sleeper. I doubt it would flow good, keep the stock exhaust that is on it.

Im not really worried about flow, thats what the cutout is for. I wanted the V6 exhaust b/c it has the one outlet on the driver's side and not duel tips. Thats what i look for to tell the difference between the V6 and the V8, i figured thats what everyone else looks for too.

Here's what you do, get like a 116 or 118 lsa cause you ain't gonna hide a 110 no matter what exaust you have. Go to a muffler shop and have the change the muffler to just a single out on the driver or pass side.
TOO EASY, TOO EASY!

Sleeper cars are kinda gone. Put a bottle in just about anything and it becomes a sleeper.

You'll never be able to disguise that cam. Just run the cheater cam or something else stealthy, and use highflow cats with a hooker exhaust.

You will have to run it with the cut out open all the time. Hell, nobody looks at anything as a sleeper. How about run a single outlet high flow muffer? At least it would run decent with the cut out closed. And if your dead set on a sleeper, get a differant cam. Seriously.

+1. Maybe even a slp dual/dual. Both will be pretty quiet.

A while back I ran a Hooker Max Flow 3" single in/out. Very quiet at idle and cruise. I also had a cut out on the car for the track. My car is black, the emblems are virtually invisible. My favorite quote from a ricer about to get his *** whooped... "why does that V6 have nittos on it?"

I agree on the cam... no way you'll mask it even w/ V6 exhuast.

If you're interested, I have my sleeper set up for sale. 5.7l Ported heads with 2.02/1.57 valves and milled for higher compression with a stealth II cam.

A car that has been known to crack 12s stock will never be a sleeper.

No one will fall for that cam either.

I think you'll just end up having a rediculous looking exhaust.
