Default corvette heated O 2 sensors

I think I may be due for new front O2 sensors the slites in the rears looked like they where closed up with carbon deposits, haven't inspected the fronts but am thinking they can't look any better than the rears.

was told to get the Corvette type with longer wires an ilimanate the O2 extentions .

which year & model of vette do I get?

my car has 70K miles

Thanks for the advice

Why do u think ac/delco blows? some people think they're all that some dont. Don't they outsource their parts, and thus really not a GM authentic part at all? In that case i'd definately agree.. just curious to hear your reasoning.

Bosch 13111 here, no probs. You will get varied opinions on O2 sensors. Some like Bosch, some Denso, some GM. You can check in the PCM diagnostics forum and there are several threads on it.

I got the Bosch and they work fine for me. They switch quickly and the wires were plenty long to reach my LT headers.

Last I looked, all O2 sensors were manufactured by either
Bosch or NGK / NTK. Don't know whose is under the GM
brand.

the orginal O2 sensors have AC delco stamped on them.

was told to get the Corvette type with longer wires an ilimanate the O2 extentions . an expert tuner told me that when using O2 extensions it's not a solid connection and slows the process down.

which year & model of vette do I get?

Thanks guy's for the Bosh PN. but preferr orginal AC

Check the 3rd post down...

p/n 25317697

If you need a year, 2002 will work. They're all the same (convertible, fast-back, Z06).

With LT headers, it is only a matter of time before any O2 sensor starts giving you issues. You'll just have to trust me on this one...been down this road before.

Default corvette O2 sensors 13111 aren't these only for the back

Planning on new O 2 heated oxogen sensors for a LTs car.

can the fronts be used on the back & vis versa?

parts man told me the vette o2 PN 13111 was for the back?

Thanks

That's what you want the rear heated o2 sensors from a C5 Corvette (I used 2002 as the model year when I ordered mine) I got the bosch p/n 13111
For the rears either use 02 simms, or have them tuned out with HPTuners/EFILive
If you want to know where to get the o2 sensors cheaper than $112 each PM me

Default O2 sensors

Ok sounds like the 13111 will be used then I can unload the wire extentions and maybe the car will run a bit better (without the extentions)?

I checked into O2 about 5 months ago the slites appeared to be getting clogged with carbon first place I checked LS1speed $100. each 2nd spdc $120. each

I'm getting suspisious of the stuff they have at discount auto there price $74.
each

Thanks

Default O2 sensors

OK got the Bosh 13111 at napa paid $73. each. I did smell something burning thinking this was the newness of sensor smell dissappeared in about 2 hours.

glad to see the peskie SES go off. after 2 days (just did regular driving did'nt do the driving procedure.

My ?s are
1.did I get a cheap disscounted verision of the real bosh 13111?

2. how long can I expect these to last Steve meents mentioned expect to replace more often with LTs?

3.thoughts on half the # of slites in sensor prob. compared to stock O2?

4. I'm thinking the bad O2 caused the peskie Po300 misfire?

5. will I notice a preformace improvement without the extentions?

6. which color wire should I use to connect the air/fuel ratio meter up to?

7. is it normal for both fronts to bad at same time?

Thanks
