I designed them
They are going to be available shortly...
Marketing pictures are on the way.
Prices are very competitive AND there will be a California Certification EO in the works.
These are ONE piece (no welded caps) and have flow characteritics specifically designed to optimize each inlet/outlet diameter.
These will be offered in 2.5 / 3.0 / 3.5 inlets/outlets AND in 30* offsets with altered centerlines. All bodies are 4" in OD with seamless stainless steel contruction. You want more tight fitment ooption we will be offering the most. Pictures will explain these shaped options much better...
Stay tuned

Well these new Magnaflow cats seem to be pretty good pieces in comparison to the crap they've been selling before, the huge ceramic ones that flow in the neighborhood of 138 cfm less than my Random Tech cats.....those also look almost exactly like mine as far as design goes, so they should be great for clearance as well and with the flow numbers on that chart earlier, they are right there comparable to what i have......if they are reasonably priced they would be an awesome deal because my cats were i believe $232 a piece!!! I was like "DAMN!!!!" but i needed the clearance and flow so i got them anyway.

The parts we have sold were always ceramic and were intended to be High Flow AND Compliant parts. These parts WILL pass an emissions sniffer test and in most applications (some LT Header designs excluded) will not trigger PO420/430 codes. The fact that they flowed extreemly well was simply a plus.
We never really intendeed these to satisfy racers or the big performance enthusiasts but for the price and their performace they are tough to beat. You have probably seen this Dave Vizard test a thousand times but...
Inlet Diameter (in.) Outlet Diameter (in.) CFM @ 20.4” H2O CFM @ 28” H2O
OEM Passenger Side Catalytic Converter
2.5 - 2.5 - 299.5 - 350.9
OEM Driver's Side Catalytic Converter
2.5 - 2.5 - 268.3 - 314.4
TTS Bullet Catalytic Converter
2.5 - 2.5 - 277.1 - 324.6
Carsound Catalytic Converter
2.5 - 2.5 - 372.7 - 436.7
FLP Catalytic Converter
2.5 - 2.5 - 376.0 - 440.5
NOW the new metallic parts are designed around maximum flow AND still meeting tough emissions standards. These cats are CARB CERTIFIED FOR CALIFORNIA USE upto 4.0L.
When we attempt to design a new product we do so with specific intension to deliver the best part at the best price... and i can tell you that our cat will NOT exceed $200 each and will see a more fair market price between $150-180 all things considered. Nerly $500 for two universal converters is price gouging....

Now THAT is the kind of information I have been looking for! If I'm looking to get cats in the next couple weeks what do you suggest I do? I'm sure it will be much longer than that before the product you just showed us will be available but I'm in pretty dire need at the moment. I like the clearance of those new cats you have, and the flow numbers on the carsound cat is unbelievable, but I need something soon. What's your suggestion?

found this on an LS1 site, can't vouch for accuracy:
This is a chart of how well each of the major high-flow cats compare. The figures you see are in cubic feet per minute, which is a measure of how much air the cat will allow through per minute. The higher the number, the better. Catalytic converter flow rates at 1.5 inches of mercury.

But with an installed lenght of 7.5" or whatever ... its hard to beat the RT's.

The only place I could find them was selling them for 215 a peice. At the time when I was searching for cats, I couldn't find any flow data for the carsounds, so I went with them, and so far am VERY pleased w/ them.
