Lid ? Ok so i just got my first ls1 car and its all stock except for a k&n filter and a magnaflow catback. Im gonna get a lid for it but couldnt find exactly what im looking for. I know I have seen a smoked lid before but cant find any vendor that sells them. Also I know alot of people have fitment issues with some lids such as coming uncliped and rubbing on the hood so what does everyone think is the best fitting lid that people seem to have the least fitment issues with?

In a thread like this you'll get 6 of one answer and half a dozen of another answer.
TSP, SLP & MTI all seem to be good lids.
TSP is the only one I have never heard of rubbing (doesn't mean they don't just never seen it posted). I have on all the others.
Whisper seems to be the most likely to crack. Again this is just a generally observation from the numbers of posts I've seen and read.
Essentially, any will do. And if it fails after a few years then it's only $90.00
