this works on cars that the intake heat would bleed over to the throttle body and heat it up.
So no, its not an applicable mod.

Re: throttle body spacer TB spacers are worthless on a multi-port fuel injected engine, anyway. They help with fuel atomization on a TBI setup, and carb spacers are helpful in the same way on carbed engines. Spend your money elsewhere! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: throttle body spacer i put one on my 96 vortex Z71 and could fell alittle difference and it gots MPI. the only thing i dont like it the annoing whisle noise when the engine is under a load. sounds like i got a turbo or somthing but the company (street performance) say that this is normal. i would not put one on my ls1 however.

I swapped it from my 01 Tahoe. I put it on my 98 Z28. I pick up a VERY small gain in torque in the mid range with the spiral type spacer. It's not worth the trouble plus that annoying turbo whisle sound coming from it starts to gets real old over time!
