pros: the car will fell more solid
cons: you might feel a little more vibration... but that is subjective...

before you make the just to solid mount you should find a buddy that has them and ride in his car... but i dout you will notice too much differnce between solid mounts and poly ones

Yeah and don't take advise from people who are gonna say anything bad about solid motor mounts unless they have driven a solid motor mount LS1. i have installed many solid motor mounts in LS1's and most of them couldn't tell a difference other than the car feeling ALOT more solid and responsive.

that is very true. I have one that has solid mounts and one that doesnt and there is a pretty big difference.

What about hitting large potholes... is cracking the aluminum block not an issue?

I have ridden in my buddy's car with solid mounts and there is a little different. The car definately feels more solid. As previoulsy stated though, I would try and ride in one before hand. That is the only real way for you to know if you will like them.

there is a lot of people that talk about it cracking a block but ive seen no proof... if your a worried about it run poly or a motor plate setup... but IMHO i'd run the solid mounts and not worry about it

My buddy has had his solid mounts for as long as i can remember and has had no problems. He used to daily drive his all of the time. I also suggest getting them and not worrying about it if it is heading toward a track only car.

I have the Spohn solid mounts and after I switched from stock I could tell a difference but only a good one...no excess vibrations or anything like that (about the same as stock).
