gmmg with headers

gmmg with headers How does it sound? Any sound/video clips we be great? I will probably run it with cats so how much different will it sound with running cats as compared to running an off road y pipe? Any other comments on this set up? Anyone think it is too loud, gmmg with headers and cats?

I have FLPs with FlowMaster AT catback and the sound it produces is really not what I'm after. I was thinking about going with Borla, but I have also considered GMMG.

Re: gmmg with headers I get compliments almost every time i drive my TA. I only drive it on the weekend and it sure does put a BIG grin on my face when i fire her up!

The GMMG sounds good and makes hp too just like any other aftermarket exhaust. People (myself included) have dynoed the GMMG against other exhausts and have made the samp hp or alittle bit more.
Borla does sound good in a tractor sort of way though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
The GMMG does have more of a tuned sound than Borla and the Loudmouth and will match the perfomance, but I think True Duals would be better than any of the catbacks available for the f-body.

Re: gmmg with headers The GMMG exhaust is just as good as all the others. The only reason this myth that it sucks exists is cuz it used to have 2 mufflers, not it only has one. The two muffler thing was a bad design, but they have since improved it and now it is one of the better exhaust choices.
I swapped out my SLP dual/dual (stock with my firehawk) and lost no power whatsoever, I actually gained like 1hp but my car had a bit more miles on it.
