Is your setup completely mandrel bent? What was the difference at the track from dumping before the axle and going back to the tailpipes? What has to be modified to clear the driverside over the axle pipe? Can you please post any pics you may have?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Send him a private message. He's been occupied with his car lately and probably isn't seeing a lot of the posts.

Sorry I didn't catch the post sooner. Yes, lots of things going on..
I never got before & after times, as it was the end of the year when I switched. I went back to dumping before the axles, because of the weight. When I finally get a motor that puts out the power that I want, then I'll go back.
What is involved is raising up the fuel lines. You also must take the brake bracket that bolts to the rear end, and move that from where it bolts to the top of the axle, and bolt it to the bottom of the same hole (gives you alittle more space. You also must take off the bar above the panhard bar. Then your exhaust guy should have no problem fitting the pipes in there.
I would put the bullets just before the axles, as I originally had them, because I kept breaking the brackets off that were welded to the mufflers. Brackets will be needed before the axle, and at the rear.
My exhaust was not mandrel bent, unfortunately.
I have some pics somewhere, but they aren't very clear. I will look & see if I can find them.

Thanks Sunshine! I already had the upper panhard bar removed and the fuel lines were already pushed up since my old exhaust setup was duals with an X dumping before the axle. I am going to buy two over the axle f-body pieces from Summit and use those. Ill keep ya posted.

Ok Sunshine..... I have a couple of Q's for ya!
#1. Will removing the upper panhard rod affect handling or affect the car anyway?
#2. How much did it cost you to get your set up made?
#3. Do you have any pics that I can use to show my local exhaust guy?
TIA
Josh S.

No.

Will vary depending on who does it, muffler choice, mandrel or crush bent etc.

Kewl...... I have one more question. What is the difference between a mandrel bent and a crush bent exhaust?
I just wish I could find some pics now.
