I am heading to ARE in the next couple of days to have the following bolt-ons added to my 02 M6 Z28.
-FLP long tubes with ORP
-Taking off my loud mouth and putting back the stock Z28 catback with a FLP electric cut out.
-Ported throttle body
-MAF ends
-LS1 edit tuning
I am hoping for 360RWHP and 370LB/FT, do you guys think this is possible for a strictly bolt on car. With a 100HP 5177 NOS shot I would like to see 450RWHP and 550LB/FT. Here's what I have done so far along with the dyno proven gains I have seen.
With 700KMs and 100% bone stock it made 303.7HP & 329.8LB/FT
http://solo2.abac.com/avigdor/temp/Z28/dyno.jpg
At 1600KMs I added a Loud Mouth cat back and went back to the dyno. The
numbers went up to 314.0 RWHP & 334.8LB/FT.

At 2300KMs I added a Fast Toys ram air, lid and K&N filter. The numbers with
these mods where 323.2RWHP 340.5LB/FT.

I managed to drive another 5000KMs with out any more modifications, until a
good deal came up on a NOS 5177 dry kit. In order to
Run this kit I had to descreen the MAF. With 7000KMs I dyno'ed the car again
to see if this helped my HP output. It did, I went up to 332.9RWHP &
347.9LB/FT
http://solo2.abac.com/avigdor/temp/Z28/dyno%20NOS.jpg
With the car still on the dyno, now came the fun part of trying the NOS,
with a single 100HP jet the numbers jumped up to 419RWHP and get this,
528.2LB/FT!

I went to the dragstrip this weekend to try my NOS for the 1st time and ran a 13.0 @ 116.8
http://solo2.abac.com/avigdor/temp/Z28/andrenos.jpg
The HP is there but my driving could improve and I think I could use a set of drag radials.

I know of a guy with a M6 02 WS6 with FLPs, ASP pulley, borla, lid, MAF ends, and ED Write tuning who has 364 at the wheels.

What mods do you think are required to see 380rwhp on an M6 01/02 FBody? I will be getting my car tuned by ARE so the 'quality' of tuning should not be an issue.
Here's what I got so far alnog with what I am planning on doing,
1)lid + K&N
2)FTRA
3)descreened MAF
4)FLP LTs with ORP
5)FLP electric cut-out
6)swapping Loud Mouth with stock Z28 catback
7)MAF ends
8)ported throttle body (by ARE)
9)ARE tuning
Wade @ ARE advised me to stay away from pulleys as they are not worth the trouble.

Minus my heads/cam package which I just added, I had 371rwhp/380rwtq through 3.73's and a 12 bolt rear end. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
But, I had a lot of little things to help....
Ported TB, carbon fiber d/s, aluminum flywheel, ASP crank/alt pullies, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, tuning with MAFT, fernco hose etc.....
I added those to Grott long tubes and a true dual 3" exhaust w/ xpipe, a lid, and ls6 intake and I got there.
Any ls1 can get 380rwhp with just bolt ons if they do every bolt on and keep the stock gearing IMO.

SSMAN66 just put down 348 RWHP in his '02 Z28 with just Hooker LT's, ORP, Hooker cat back, lid and descreened MAF. With a ported TB and ported MAF, he should be close to 360RWHP.

I'm also hopeing for 350-360rwhp
Last time I dynoed. I mad 324HP and 345TQ. That was with a Air lid, Gutted/Ported MAF, MAFT, and a totally stock exhaust. No cutout.
Since then I have added a 85mm MAF, Ported TB, Grotyohann headers, and a custom off road Y.

my car put down 369/371 with no tuning just bolt ons. I just slid a cam in and went to 401/379. the 360 mark is possible. 370 maybe with some of that texas air.
